ISERN at Helsinki University of TechnologyISERN (International Software Engineering Research Network) is a community that consists of researchers that want to conduct sound empirical research in the area of software engineering. Members of the community represent some of the leading authorities in the field of empirical software engineering. Membership in ISERN is based both on an individual and organization. Both the individual and the organization need to demonstrate commitment and contribution to work towards the shared objectives of ISERN and to foster cooperation and advancement of empirically based research in software engineering. The ISERN community holds an annual meeting to address timely topics and exchange ideas. Members of ISERN can also bring along guests from their organization to attend these meetings in order to expand the network and enhance learning and interactions with the community. Professor Kontio is has been the TKK member of ISERN and will coordinate TKK activities in this area. These pages document some of the related events and material that may be relevant for empirical software engineering researchers at TKK. Professor Kontio co-chaired the 2004 ISERN meeting at Redondo Beach, CA, with Professor Barry Boehm. Below are links to further information: |
